A two-floor menswear store in Patel Nagar rebuilt around a younger customer — quick to read, quick to shop, and designed for the phone camera as much as the rack. The project is in progress; the images below are design renders.

The brief

Build a fast, recognisable retail identity across two floors without relying on a large footprint or heavy fixtures.

Design approach

Fixtures were pulled back so the merchandise — walls of folded shirts on backlit shelving — does the talking. The ground floor moves customers up the staircase naturally; the first floor slows them down around a branded lounge built to be photographed.

Ground floor and first floor

The ground floor pairs backlit metal shelving and herringbone wood flooring with a fluted cash counter. Upstairs, a checkerboard marble floor, candle chandeliers, a tan leather sofa and a backlit brand sign create the lounge moment.
